American Cheer wrapped up the regular season in spectacular fashion. First, all of our prep and mid-season novice teams headed to Irvine, California to the JAMZ Challenge Cup and showed the judges what American Cheer is all about. For our mid-season novice teams it was their first live event of the season, but despite their lack of floor experience, they both nailed great routines, but more importantly we saw the smiling faces of lots of happy athletes on the stage.

Novice divisions don’t technically compete against other teams, but the judges awarded them with an “Excellent” performance achievement. Our preps ended with a bang as well! Tiny Twinkles, Tiny Stars, Youth Stars and Jr Stars all walked away with first place finishes and Youth Stars had the highest score of the day.

However, a week later our elite teams headed to Nashville, Tennessee for One Up Nationals. Different state, same great results! These were definitely the best routines these athletes had thrown all season and the judges agreed. All six elite teams came home champions, but Jr White, Jr Blue, Sr Black and J-Red not only won their divisions, but had the highest scores in their levels as well, and on top of that J-Red had the highest score of all 400+ teams, while Sr Black won a PAID invitation to the Summit National Championship in Orlando. Again, a great way to end the regular season. Next stop, Orlando, Florida where Jr Blue, J-Red, and Sr Black will take on their toughest challenge of the season in hopes to be crowned the 2022 Summit National Champions. Stay tuned!
