Head CoachGirls Gymnastics Team
American Kids Sports Center (AKSC) in Bakersfield, CA is accepting qualified applicants the Head Coach position for its Girls Artistic Gymnastics Team. Must be qualified & experienced to coach Pre-Team thru Level 10, have strong management & administrative skills, be organized, be goal-oriented, and a team player with fellow staff.
AKSC has a 35 year successful history in gymnastics. Our head coach of 8 years, Vanessa Atler, has chosen to become a full time mom and is moving to be near their family. She leaves behind a strong girls team program of approx. 100 girls Pre-team thru 10 and we wish to hand them off to a coach that shares our coaching values.
AKSC was established in 1984 and is now one of the largest multi-activity children centers in the nation with nearly 4,000 kids at our two Bakersfield locations totaling 70K sq. ft. We offer gymnastics, swim lessons, dance, cheerleading, education, and more. No experience necessary, however, experience with swim strokes and a current life guard certification is preferred. Part-time hourly pay based on experience.
